Everything fell apart yesterday

As you know, we're building Sucana.

It's a platform for ad agencies.

Helps them build, publish, analyse, and scale their ad campaigns.

But during the building process...

We lost the plot of what we were actually building.

There was confusion everywhere.

We put a deadline for ourselves.

September 14th.

Victor is launching a massive project for a big real estate company.

Sucana is going to do all the heavy lifting.

But yesterday we realised we're far from ready.

So we jumped on a 3-hour call.

It was quite spicy.

But in the end...

We got our clarity back.

We realised why we're building Sucana.

And more importantly, for who.

Your guiding light.

The moment you lose sight of your customer...

You're building in the dark.

Whenever you're building something...

Launching something...

Or growing something, you need to ask yourself:

Who am I building this for?

How will it solve their problems?

Everything else is just noise.

Now I'm curious...

What are you building right now?

I'd love to hear your story.

We'll talk soon.

Virgil "Clarity beats complexity" Brewster

P.S. Sometimes you need a spicy 2-hour call to remember what actually matters.

Hit me up if you need my help.

My dog Bumi was chewing on a towel. Weird habit, but whatever. While watching her, I opened my laptop to write this email. That's when it hit me. Six months ago, I was screaming:"AI will never replace human creativity!" I was convinced robots would ruin everything. That’s what you get when you watch too many Terminator movies. It started with one simple experiment.I asked ChatGPT to brainstorm email subject lines. The results were insane. So I tried another experiment. Before I knew it, AI...

Last week I did something that felt like cheating. I took everything I know about launching digital products.20 years of trial, error, and $10M in sales - and trained a custom AI. Here's the weird thing... I can launch anything for my clients. 6-figure campaigns, sold-out cohorts, you name it, I’ve done it. But when it comes to launching my own stuff? I freeze up like an idiot. You know the feeling, right? You're brilliant at solving other people's problems. But when it's YOUR business, this...

Here's something I've never shared publicly. For every client I work with, I create a custom AI model. Not some generic ChatGPT prompt. A fully trained model that thinks like me, talks like them, and understands their specific business. Let me show you how this works: Step 1: I get the backstory of the client. Their business history and journey. What's worked and what hasn't. Their specific challenges and goals. Customer feedback and testimonials. Step 2: I capture their tone of voice. How do...
