People think $10M revenue means you're filthy rich.​

Holidays.
Rolex watches.
Living like a king.
​

Don't get me wrong...
​
We did very well for ourselves.
​
But not may people talk about the dark side of earning a lot of money.
​

Everyone wants something from you.
​
Family members who never called have business ideas they want you to fund.
​

When you're in the spotlight, people try to pull you down.
​
Negative comments. Jealous attacks.
​

You stop valuing simple things.

​
Real relationships.
Family events.
Quiet dinners.
​

It's all about chasing more $$$
​
And that started to sting.
​

I remember staring at the ceiling at 3 AM, wondering: "Is this it?"
​

Money was rolling in.
​
Something felt empty.

​
As people grow, they want different things.
​

The business stayed the same. We didn't.
​
That mismatch killed our passion.
​
We had a lot of fun and learned a lot about running a business.
But in the end, it was a burden.
​

So we made the hardest decision.
​

We dismantled the entire thing.
​

Best decision ever made.
​

Money without freedom is just expensive slavery.
​
